Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Formulate and drive comprehensive marketing plans that encompass brand and store activities, media buying, sales promotion, and brand planning. Ensure all initiatives enhance the brand image and achieve the business's commercial objectives.
  • Marketing Calendar Management: Plan and oversee the development and execution of the marketing calendar, including the selection of event themes, distribution channels, and partners to maximize reach and impact.
  • Content Creation & Distribution: Develop impactful content—ranging from press releases and campaigns to packaging—that effectively communicates the brand story. Distribute this content through the most relevant channels to connect with targeted demographics.
  • Lead Generation & Foot Traffic: Conceptualize and implement strategies for generating high-quality customer leads and increasing foot traffic, utilizing cost-effective methods to meet organizational goals.
  • Budget Planning & Management: Oversee the brand’s marketing budget, ensuring detailed monitoring and management of all expenses.
  • Performance Measurement: Measure and report the performance of all marketing campaigns against established ROI and KPIs, ensuring continuous optimization.

People Management:

  • Staff Recruitment: Lead the hiring of qualified staff to support marketing initiatives.
  • Training & Development: Provide training on products, competitive landscape, consumer behavior, and operations to enhance team capabilities.
  • Employee Motivation & Retention: Foster a motivating work environment that encourages staff retention.
  • Career Development: Plan career paths for high-potential employees within the organization.
  • Succession Planning: Proactively develop succession plans for key roles to ensure business continuity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Marketing or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6-7 years of relevant experience in the retail industry is essential.
  • A keen sense of fashion and a passion for the industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects, budgets, and timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics is advantageous.
  • Ability to establish an independent perspective and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
