- The Manufacturing Technician is responsible to perform technical duties and support processes or equipment in production.
- The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing technical duties in electro-mechanical system assemblies of oilfield equipment.
- Adhere to documentation including use of Bill of material, Schematics, Drawings.
- Ensure ability to: Read drawings, identify components, use of hand tools.
- Maintain assembly tools and equipment.
- Use the guiding standards, procedures, and tools to improve throughput in assembly processes.
- Assist in the creation, documentation, and maintenance of SWIs.
- Work with Engineers to diagnose issues or defects and solve them.
- Collaborate with a variety of personnel and with outside vendors when necessary while performing the above.
- Proficient in electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assemblies.
- Routing of cables, building cables (crimping, connector assembly, cable glands).
- Ability to read schematics for wiring termination and hydraulic and pneumatic assembly.
- General Craft standards (cable/hose routing, application of lubricants, etc.)
- Ability to identify various use of fasteners with required torquing methods.
- Higher NITEC, Diploma, Professional Certificate
