As an Executive in the Business Infrastructure Branch (BIB) of the Facilities Management & Engineering Department (FMED) you will be part of a team that supports the development, maintenance and managing the day-to-day Facilities Management (FM) operations of NEA HQ and centralised offsite premises.
What you will be working on:
- Liaise with stakeholders such as internal staff, landlord, external vendors, contractors and other government agencies for matters related to the maintenance, replacement and regulatory requirements for NEA HQ and centralised offsite premises.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facilities, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Obtain quotations when required and review contractor’s proposals and quotations for improvement and maintenance works.
- Supervise the delivery of facility related improvement projects and maintenance works to ensure quality and timely completion.
- Assist in tracking, renewing, and compiling department assets, contributing to efficient administrative operations.
- Any other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in related work and building maintenance. Applicants with no experience are also welcome to apply.
- Able to work both independently and in a team.
- Familiar with Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, local Codes of Practices, Statutory Authorities requirements and FM operational practices
- Self-motivated and comfortable with fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and written skills.
- Able and willing to work after office hours, including weekends and Public Holidays.
