Job Description

  • Strategic Planning: Lead the development of long-term department financial forecast to support multi-year financial grant application (>S$100M)
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the units’ creation of detailed budgets and responsible to create the financial forecasts for each unit and monitor the forecast variance.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare monthly financial report based on the actual monthly costs from Office of Finance and analyze the spend trends and variance to forecast.
  • Project Management: Responsible for managing cross-functional projects to improve corporate systems and processes, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinates with central unit teams to manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues to align with organizational objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Implement and maintain financial metrics and KPIs that support the department strategic direction and operational decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek process enhancements in the administration team process including reporting and analysis processes to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Any other duities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Degree holder with at least 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis role
  • Mature disposition to manage internal and external stakeholders confidently
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in data management and financial reporting systems.
  • Expertise in designing and optimizing workflows
  • Proven experience in process automation using tools such as PowerApps, OpenAI GPTs, Power Automate, RPA platforms and Monday.com.
  • Skilled in using workflow design tools such as Visio or Miro.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Meticulous and attention to details
  • Organised and able to multi-task
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications, PowerBI, RPA and savvy with web applications and software etc.
