About the role:
This role focuses on assisting your team members in deploying, implementing, and maintaining transmission network equipment.
The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Reporting to the team leader
- Understanding of Telecommunication systems
- Perform project and operational requirements
- Perform corrective maintenance cycle check on all site equipment.
- Installation of various network devices and services
- To perform schedule night work
- To work with vendors and contractors
- Troubleshooting fault on network systems.
- Requirement to meet various customers (Building management)
- To work with and support different teams on project
- Experience in working in DATA CTR/MDF room/rooftop environments
The candidate should possess the below qualities to fulfil the needs of the role:
- Degree/Diploma/ITE in Electrical/Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent
-Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work on a 24/7 rotating standby duty
- Experience in Fibre network, Huawei OSN, DWDM system, copper wire networking and general power/rectifier knowledge
- Outgoing character
- Responsible and responsive character
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Eager to learn and grow with the company
- Preferably to have a class 3 license
