About ALPS
ALPS - a subsidiary of SingHealth, was set up in 2018 as part of Ministry of Health’s (MOH) strategic thrust in delivering value-based supply chain solutions to public healthcare.
As the public healthcare supply chain agency, we design and execute a national level end-to-end supply chain blueprint in partnership with 27 Public Healthcare Institutions (PHIs) in Singapore.

The incumbent will be based in one of the Public Health Institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all pharmacy items are procured according to established ALPS/PHI policies.
- Maintain departmental reports and records and collect statistical data for administrative and regulatory purposes.
- Establish and compile various sources of supply.
- Recommends standardization of products when opportunity arises.
- Collate requirements from various stakeholders.
- Prepare ITQs / Tenders / RFPs as guided.
- Conduct sourcing events such as ITQs and RFPs/Tenders
- Collate and tabulate all offers and facilitate evaluation and seek for approval before the purchase.
- Able to communicate with vendor effectively and undergo negotiation.
Requirements
- Prior experience in purchasing role.
- Knowledge of procurement cycle is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft office excel.
- Experience in SAP/WMS I will be an added advantage.
- Good team player and able to meet deadline.
- Meticulous and good communication skills.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Fast learner and adaptable.
