· Supervise kitchen sections with a focus on Indonesian cuisine.
· Ensure food temperatures remain safe and compliant with health standards.
· Prepare ingredients, including washing vegetables, cleaning, and cutting.
· Monitor personal hygiene, uniform cleanliness, and workstation sanitation among staff.
· Assist with refrigerator cleaning and workstation setup.
· Ensure all guest needs and expectations are met by providing professional and efficient service. Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
· Check and report equipment issues to Director.
· Ensure all team members adhere to grooming standards to maintain a professional image.
· Provide guidance and support to team members to meet and maintain grooming standards.
· Properly store products in the fridge using a first-in-first-out system and avoid placing items on the floor.
· Assist in collecting food supplies and documenting stock requisitions.
· Maintain cleanliness of trolleys and workstations, and follow health and safety rules.
· Perform other ad-hoc duties or projects as assigned by the Director.
Requirements
· Culinary Certificate/Diploma or equivalent experience.
· At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in F&B, specifically in Indonesian cuisine.
· Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies in an Indonesian restaurant setting.
· Hands-on experience working with Indonesian cuisine, including a deep understanding of traditional recipes, cooking techniques, and ingredients. Ability to create authentic Indonesian dishes and adapt recipes as needed.
· Service and result-oriented, good team player.
· Proficiency in hygiene, health, and safety standards.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic work environment.
· Ability to work shifts and on weekends.
