Job Summary:
The position is to assist Head of IT Asia for managing SAP and various Business Application projects and providing operation support for Motul entities in Asia region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project and service delivery of SAP ERP (ECC6 and S/4 HANA), and various business application solutions in fast-paced, deadline driven environment. He or she will have to work closely with Head of IT Asia to ensure all application services met user’s requirements and the development and operation support best practices are well implemented and managed.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Works closely with Head of IT Asia to complete essential job functions ensuring Regional SAP ERP and other business applications such as SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Concur, Digital E-Commerce, Sales Force Automation and Business Intelligence platform are implemented and used correctly across Motul business entities in Asia region.
- Lead, plan, coordinate and oversea the full life cycle of SAP ECC migration project to S/4 HANA, and project development of SAP Fiori application, in house applications and SaaS applications development across Asian offices. The full life cycle shall cover all phases from initiation through execution and closure, in close partnership with Key Business Process Owners, Solution Owners and various regional IT solution providers.
- Ensures SAP Business Processes, SAP GRC and other compliances mandated by the Group and escalates all non-compliance to the Head of IT Asia.
- Ensures alignment and adherence to SAP Governance and Enterprise Applications Architecture of Motul Global and Motul Asia Pacific.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business requirements and translate them into effective applications and solutions. Facilitate project kickoffs, manage resource needs and constraints, and ensure the projects are delivered on time within budget.
- Monitor projects progress, communicate status to senior management, and address any risks or potential risks and issues which might arise and provide recommendations.
- Provide training to key and end-users on the implemented applications and solutions. Gather user feedback regularly and propose continual improvements plan.
- Coordinate, improve and assist applications support together with internal application members and external AMS partners mainly in from Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, India.
- Manage and develop the application team members with Head of IT Asia. Collaborate in setting goals and KPI, tracking performance, providing mentorship, and driving career development plans for the internal application team members.
- Assist Head of IT Asia managing IT budget and expenditures for running SAP and other regional business applications services.
- May be assigned work as is deemed fit from time to time in addition to the abovementioned duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Qualification needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related engineering and technical fields
Required knowledge/Tool requirement:
- Good understanding of Business Process Transformation and Governance activities in SAP ERP system with hands-on experience and proven track record in supporting full migration life cycle from SAP ECC 6 to SAP S/4 HANA as well as managing the system rollout to various countries in Asia Pacific as a lead business/functional SAP consultant in similar industries.
- Proficiency in SAP GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) and RCM (Risk Control Management) with hands-on experience in Finance, Business and IT Applications Control Framework and Remediation processes.
- Proficiency in SAP inter-module Integration between SD, MM, CS, WM, LE, MRO, PP and FI with depth understanding and hands-on experience in external integration for 3rdParty Logistics.
- Proficiency in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Modern Web Applications including SaaS solutions, systems data interface and responsive mobile applications development.
- Experienced in popular DevOps tools such as JIRA and Gitlab and proficiency in Agile methodology for Software development to release applications MPV in regular basis
- Experienced in SAP Fiori UI/UX development for SAP S/4 HANA system, Web UI programming with any languages and Database operation with SQL tools for Datawarehouse and/or Business Intelligence.
- Experienced in Digital Applications and UI/UX development project for Sales and Marketing such as B2B E-Commerce and other SaaS solutions in Asia region.
- Proficiency in Product Master Data Management in SAP and some other popular software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Process Automation IT tools such as RPA, Power Automate and other similar solutions.
- Proficiency in IT Project Management, Vendor Management and Budget Management.
- Familiar with ITSM framework and procedure.
- Cybersecurity such as knowledge of data protection framework is additional advantage
