Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer specializing in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) to join our team. This role will be critical in supporting, migrating, upgrading, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering EAI platforms, including but not limited to file transfer systems and API gateways, across both non-Production and Production environments on AWS. The ideal candidate will ensure that all platform operations adhere to IT compliance requirements and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Management: Oversee the migration, upgrade, configuration, and administration of EAI platforms in AWS environments. This includes monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for EAI platforms, addressing issues promptly and efficiently in both Production and non-Production environments.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that all platforms meet IT compliance requirements, including adherence to security policies, audits, and best practices.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation for all configurations, processes, and procedures related to the EAI platforms.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support of EAI solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance platform performance and reliability, and lead initiatives to implement improvements.
Job Requirements:
- Recognized Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Application Integration middleware and technologies.
- Proven experience in setting up and administering AWS services, or equivalent cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with IM8 or equivalent ICT policies is highly advantageous.
- Understanding of IT compliance frameworks and best practices in cloud environments.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to document technical processes clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Certifications (Preferred but not required):
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent certifications.
- Relevant certifications in Application Integration or middleware technologies.
