Finance Operations Associate
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and analytical Finance Operations Associate to enhance our finance team. In this role, you will manage a range of financial tasks including transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance with financial policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the capability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Utilize accounting software proficiently to manage financial activities.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Monitor and follow up on client payment milestones to ensure timely collections.
- Experience in the built-environment industry is advantageous.
- Understand and work with REDAS design and build contracts.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of payment and progress claims to clients.
- Support tender processes and manage vendor pre-qualification forms.
- Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all financial tasks.
- Manage payroll functions and assist with HR tasks as needed, providing support to the HR team.
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Meticulous, responsible, and detail-oriented.
- Proficient in essential software applications such as Google Drive and Microsoft Office.
- Basic accounting knowledge and experience.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in administrative or finance roles is a plus.
- Experience with Xero software is a plus.
