JOB SUMMARY


The Director leads all marketing and platform operations across Marriott digital activation channels, strategy, process, operations and automation, ensuring business requirements are met to achieve organizational goals. Work with HQ/Continent stakeholders to operationalize marketing technology capabilities and adapt in campaigns and BAU activities.


He/She will be leading the evolution of Marriott marketing orchestration processes across digital channels, consolidating different workstreams that support marketing campaigns and enable the marketers to be more efficient, and increase visibility of workstreams across teams.


CANDIDATE PROFILE


Education and Experience Preferred

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing or a related field
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience in a digital marketing / platform operations role, demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance.
  • Expertise in working with the Adobe Martech stack include AEM, Adobe Campaign, Target, CDP and others
  • Proficiency in key digital competencies including SEO, Google Analytics, and social media channels (Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Tiktok, YouTube, Facebook)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience in project management software is a plus (JIRA, Workfront, Confluence)
  • Fluency of English (additional Asian languages would be advantageous)


CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Lead consolidation and optimization of marketing orchestration intake process - identify R&R paid/owned channels establishing a clear process for initiating engagement across teams, process automation
  • Ensure continent/HQ alignment with the technology roadmap to support scaling and automation of processes (owned channels) across different workflows (i.e. Adobe Workfront, Adobe Target/Campaign, CDP, AJO)
  • POC on providing relevant use cases (feedback and prioritization) to support HQ capability building across MAPA and other relevant workstreams aligning with APEC marketing priorities (i.e. Localization, Personalization, Consent)
  • Adoption and operationalizing new Martech capabilities in APEC - leading change management efforts in the region in support of transitioning to new ways of working and BAU, resourcing, processes (i.e. Global/Local)
  • Lead federated approach discussions with HQ that impacts marketing operations to achieve faster speed to market and cost efficiencies (i.e. co-brand merchandising, AEM landing pages)
  • Lead Digital Merchandising/Email/App Push Operations in APEC, resourcing, processes and workflows
  • Ensure consistent taxonomy for campaigns across channels and optimized tracking of key kpi’s (i.e Adobe Analytics, Branch)
  • Platform POC for feedback/optimizations/escalations on MI Marketing tools impacting APEC marketing operations (DAC, Adobe Workfront/Target/Campaign/AEM, Adobe Analytics, Branch, CreativeX, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance to data privacy and other regulations in local markets with MI MarTech tools/data
  • Establish relationships and workflows across Legal, Cyber Security and Privacy teams to manage compliance needs across MarTech
  • Maintain deep understanding of APEC Marketing goals, KPIs, and feasible tactics/capabilities across owned channels
