Responsibilities
• Responsible for employing measuring techniques to determine most desirable suppliers.
• Monitoring supplier performance and recommend necessary action to improve performance (if any).
• Monitoring lead time per commodities and adjust as necessary.
• Developing plans and schedule for the execution of work using internal or subcontracted services; and monitoring progress of work.
• Preparing confidential information.
• Perform expediting functions.
• Developing specifications to allow for competitive acquisition of items of a complex nature.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Minimum 3-5 years of buying experience (preferably in manufacturing sector)
• Able to start on short notice will be an added advantage
