Responsibilities:
articipate in meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions. Be the central point of contact for the programs/projects managed. Communicate effectively to engage with internal and external stakeholders and provide synthesized and clear recommendations to management on risk management (project target, progress, etc) and escalation of issues that cannot be resolved in the team. Manage and supervise the Hard Services or M&E team (Engineers, Technical Officers, and Technicians), in carrying out duties as specified herein. Coach and train the technical team so that they are familiar with and knowledgeable of the requirements of this contract. Manage all technical staff, including direct contractors or parties engaged by the Authority for the Facility Management Services in various specific disciplines. Oversee and effectively maintain the M&E systems, Building services and communication systems. Install, resolve, repair, trouble-shoot and analyse faults speedily and recommend holistic, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions to the Authority. Ensure all projects, preventive maintenance works and SOPs are carried out timely and according to planned schedule as per the stipulated Response, Delivery and Completion Time in this Contract. Support and coordinate all projects related to M&E, facilities, and sustainability. Conduct monthly meetings with the Authority including all key personnel on the Operations requirements of this Contract. Ensure Submission of routine reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to the Authority as per contract requirements. Conduct regular sub-meetings with subcontractors/ stakeholders with minutes-taking. Ensure that all in the technical team and direct contractors appointed by the Authority or Contractor’s subcontractors follow TP’s QEHS ISO requirements and Statutory Requirements. Communicate with the equipment vendor/s in a technical and professional manner so that equipment faults escalation can be resolved within the shortest possible time. Responsible for preparing tender specification and post contract and renovation projects.
Requirements:
Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering. Minimum 8 years relevant experience in related M&E fields or Facilities Management or its equivalent. Candidates with the Fire Safety Manager Certification will have an added advantage. Candidates with the WSQ Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan Certification will have an added advantage. Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
