Duties and Responsibilities:
- Report on daily issue to Project Manager / Construction Manager
- Prepare and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts and other visual aids
- Coordinate with various Government and/ utility authorities for initial site clearance and set up site office
- Support in the traffic and utility restoration and direction planning
- Plan, schedule and monitor work progress at site
- Continuously ensure adherence to planned timeliness
- Maintain and monitor quality controls
- Prepare and submit all daily and/ weekly reports as required
- Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented on work site
- Prepare method statements and other submission
- Checking drawings and quantities and ensuring that the calculations are accurate for the work
- Liaising with consultants and/ subcontractors engaged in the project
- Supervising and monitoring the site labor force and monitoring the work of subcontractors
- Overseeing quality control and safety matters on site and ensuring that regulations are up kept
- Preparing complete, accurate and timely submittal logs for construction projects based on project drawings and specifications
- Accountable for receiving approved submittals and notifying the Project Manager of potential schedule impact
- Assist Project Manager by preparing all necessary back up relating to change requests
- Schedule all required construction meetings with required personnel, subcontractors, architects and owners
- Prepare correspondence with client, architect, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers
- During Construction Phase, proactively manage project to achieve quality, schedule, budget and safety
- Plan forecasts resources and manage technical activities
Requirements:
- Preferbaly possess Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Preferbaly have at least 3 years of work experience
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be a critical thinker, good listener, good monitor and decision maker
- Have excellent problem solving skills
- Able to work in a team and produce quality output under tight datelines
