OUE Restaurants has launched an exciting nightlife and culinary destination in the 4th quarter of 2023, and we are building a team of like-minded individuals who believe in creating experiences and meaningful connections. Located in the heart of the Central Business District of Singapore and perched at the roof-top of one of the city’s iconic skyscrapers, the venue will present 2 concepts across 3 levels and will operate from lunch time till late night.
You will be working together as a team towards the development of an enriching and exciting environment, with the goal of placing and maintaining the dining club as one of the most sought-after nightlife and culinary destination.
Description
- The restaurant’s expert on wine & spirits who is able to create a wine list that is able to pair with food as well as enticing for the clientele
- Ability to recommend wine pairing by advising guests on the selection based on budget, personal preference and food choices
- Proper management of inventory & storage
- Technical expertise in the serving of wine regards to temperature, proper glassware and service sequence
- Train and supervise the service of wines to guests
- Collaborate with suppliers, winemakers, export managers and brand representatives to organise trade tasting, wine dinners and wine related events
- Continuous renewal of partnership and selection of wines to achieve better prices
- Work together with Restaurant Manager to maintain overall beverage cost at 27%
WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
- Min. 3 - 5 year experience as a Sommelier
- Min. 2 year experience in fine dining
- WSET Level 3
- CMS Level 2 - Certified Sommelier
- CSW Certified
