Hanseatic Unity Handysize Pool is a joint venture between Reederei NORD GmbH and Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG set up in July 2018. We provide exclusive commercial pool services for vessels in the Handysize segment of the founding partners as well as third-party customers. To join our team in Singapore, we are looking for an Dry Bulk Operations Manager based in Singapore.
This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and profitability of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with vessel Owners, Captains, Charterers, Brokers and various stakeholders regarding the fulfilment of the agreed Charter Party terms and/or Pool Agreement.
- Supervise of all financial matters in relation to the Voyage or Time Charter Party.
- Prepare the final calculation of the actual result of voyage charters.
- Monitor the daily performance of the vessels.
- Supervise the delivery and redelivery procedures.
- Coordinate with port agents and their appointments.
- Control Time Charter hires and freight payments.
- Prepare Hire/Freight Invoices and Demurrage/Despatch calculations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years operations experience in dry bulk operations with solid know-how of voyage and time charter parties.
- In-depth understanding of international maritime regulations, port operations and compliance requirements.
- Attention to details and proactive to problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and have a strategic mind-set with strong ability to grow business and relationships
- Ability to work independently, and as a part of a team.
- Ability to take ownership and be highly reliable to the team.
- Customer orientated with strong communication and negotiation skills.
