The SMB Marketing Manager for Japan and Southeast Asia will play a crucial role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies tailored for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The role involves creating impactful campaigns, managing cross-functional projects, and driving engagement through various channels, including events, content, and digital media. This is a part of the APAC B2B marketing team and will report to the Marketing Director. You will have exposure and visibility to the client’s Sales, Product, Finance & Market Insights teams, as you work with them to create a holistic solution to Marketing problems. Role Responsibilities

  • Strategic Development: Develop and execute targeted marketing strategies to expand our SMB business in Japan and Southeast Asia. Identify key market opportunities and tailor strategies to address the unique needs of SMBs in these regions.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition among SMBs. Collaborate with creative teams to produce compelling content, including digital ads, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and customer support teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives and customer needs. Coordinate with regional teams to ensure consistent messaging and execution across different markets.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Organize and manage events, webinars, and trade shows to engage with SMBs and build brand presence in Japan and Southeast Asia. Develop event content and materials that resonate with the target audience and drive participation.
  • Content Creation and Website Management: Create and oversee the production of high-quality content, including case studies, success stories, and web copy. Manage and optimize the website to ensure it effectively communicates our value proposition to SMBs and supports lead generation.
  • Media and Digital Strategy: Develop campaigns including digital advertising, social media campaigns, and SEO/SEM strategies and work with the deployment team to execute Analyze media performance and adjust strategies to maximize ROI and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations for optimization. Prepare regular reports on campaign effectiveness and market trends to inform strategic decisions.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

· 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on SMBs e Past experience in payments or ecommerce Proven expertise in developing and executing marketing strategies, managing cross-functional projects, and driving results.

· Strong understanding of SMB dynamics in Japan and Southeast Asia.

· Experience with event management, content creation, website optimization, and media planning.

· Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and manage multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency in the Japanese language, equivalent to JLPT N1 or native-level fluency, is essential for effective communication and coordination with Japanese counterparts and clients.
  • Valid work authorization in Singapore
