Responsibilities
- Provide high-performance technical solution to financial platform
- Develop a robust quantitative research infrastructure through back testing systems and distributed computing solutions
- Build and optimized big-data infrastructure to capture complex and diverse needs for research
- Lead the acquisition, design, and development of software systems across organisational units
- Oversee the creation of Proof-of-Concept (PoC) solutions and manage software platform features
- Manage and mentor a team of software developers
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, IT or similar discipline with a strong academic background
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in C++ development, candidate with development experience in financial / banking sector will be an advantage
- Proficiency in Go, C++, and other relevant programming languages
- Familiarity with the FIX protocol and experience in financial systems is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams
