Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end cybersecurity solutions and maintain front-end applications for a cross web2/web3 project. React.js / Next.js (or similar stack)
- Proficient hands-on experience in React.js and Next.js.
- Collaborate with UX designers and back-end engineers to develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
- Need to understand and use Web 3
- Develop deep understanding of the Blockchain technology (specifically public Blockchain)
- Define and develop security requirements using risk assessments, threat modelling, testing, and analysis of existing systems.
- Create security integration strategies to safeguard current infrastructure while incorporating future solutions.
- Formulate action plans encompassing policy creation and governance, system hardening, monitoring, incident response, disaster recovery, and addressing emerging cybersecurity threats.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote the adoption of software designs and best practices aligned with security standards.
- Perform routine activities related to the periodic review and audit activities of infrastructure security systems and maintains documentation of security standards and procedures.
- Keep abreast of the latest intelligence from law enforcement and other sources of cyber threat information.
Requirement
- Degree in Computer Science or Security Management
- 8+ years security experience, Design, develop, and implement secure system architectures and Proficient in Typescript, React.js, Next.js or similar front-end stack.
- Familiar with the JS ecosystem and well-versed with the various front-end frameworks.
- Good understanding of state management such as Redux / Mobx.
- Eager for constant learning from both success and failure, remaining open to change and continuous improvement.
- Enthusiastic about the future of blockchain and comfortable with ambiguity. #hybrid
- Experience in WASM/BPF and using common penetration testing tools, BurpSuite, Metasploit, etc
- Basic knowledge of cryptographic primitives such as public/private keys, hash functions and Merkletrees (understand how to use them, not implement them).
- Experience with best security practices in the blockchain space, ability to analyze potential security vulnerabilities and maintain security principles and how they relate to the overall enterprise system architecture.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and endpoint protection.
- Preferred network Security certification.
- Ability to converse and write in Chinese (Mandarin) as the incumbent requires to liaise with the China counterparts / personnel based in China for work or project related matters
