Job Scope:
- * Assist in nurturing the e-Learning/ePedagogy culture in the school.
- * Create e-learning content e.g. resources for home-based learning
- * Design and create digital / interactive resources for teachers e.g. videos
- * Conduct ICT-based customised training workshop for staff and students.
- * Provide software and technical assistance to both staff and students.
- * Compile student showcase projects.
- * Guide and coach students through ICT competitions.
- * Provide assistance in development and research of IT solutions.
- * Work closely with the HOD ICT to spearhead IT initiatives.
Courses to be Conducted by ICT Educator for classes or small groups of students
- * Touch Typing
- * Cyber Wellness topics
- * E-Learning Portal
- * Utilising Multimedia facilities (Scanner, Digital Camera)
- * Basic photo editing (e.g. Adobe Photoshop)
- * Presentation graphics for MS Word and MS PowerPoint and Microsoft Word (basic and advance), Microsoft Excel (basic and advance), Microsoft PowerPoint (basic and advance)
- * Basic video production
- * Coding in Scratch Junior, Scratch 3.0, Co-spaces and Microbit
- * Design Thinking Skills
- * Any other courses as required by school.
Requirements:
- Relevant certification in ICT.
- Knowledgeable and proficient in systems such as website programming and Google docs.
- Good knowledge in ICT tools (for self-directed and collaborative Proficient in Scratch Junior, Scratch 3.0, Co-spaces and Microbit learning) appropriate for learning and teaching.
- Experience managing children under the age of 12.
- Some experience working in a primary school would be an advantage.
- Good planning and analytical skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to conduct brigfing / training to students or in-house staff for related implementation.
- Good classroom management skills.
- Able to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team.
Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025
Location: Seng Kang
Salary: $2800 - $3100/Month
Working Arrangement:
• Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 45 min lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
