Principal Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Articulate and drive the product vision and strategy in alignment with the company's objectives.

Perform market analysis and research industry trends to uncover opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.

Employ design thinking or innovative methodologies when conducting workshops with stakeholders to cultivate a product-centric mindset.

Create and manage a product roadmap that details essential features, enhancements, and key milestones.

Prioritize product features and initiatives based on business impact, customer value, and resource constraints.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, customer service, and design, to gather and document comprehensive product requirements.

Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and usability studies to gain insights into user needs and preferences.

Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.

Develop clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintain the product backlog.

Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to facilitate smooth product development.

Coordinate product launches, including marketing strategies, sales training, and customer support.

Devise and execute go-to-market strategies to maximize product adoption and revenue.

Monitor product performance using key metrics and analytics, continuously gathering feedback to improve the product.

Serve as the main point of contact for all product-related inquiries and updates, keeping executive leadership and stakeholders informed on product status, progress, and priorities.

Experience with e-commerce platforms and omnichannel strategies.

Knowledge of sales strategies, retail partnerships, and supply chain management, particularly within the beauty industry.

Proficiency in enhancing customer experience and loyalty, utilizing CRM systems and community-building strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product management role, preferably in the beauty, fashion, or Retail/CPG/eCommerce industries.

In-depth knowledge of the beauty, fashion, and retail markets, including trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscapes.

Expertise with product management tools and agile development methodologies.

Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, with a knack for data interpretation and making data-driven decisions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

A strong passion for understanding and addressing customer needs, with a user-focused approach to product development.

Lead and manage digital transformation projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion.

Foster organizational change by effectively communicating with stakeholders, providing necessary training and resources, and encouraging a culture of innovation.
