We are seeking an experienced SGP Security Operations Officers, reporting to the Southeast Asia Security Manager, will head a security team of 15 - 25 security officers (team structure can vary) primarily responsible for ensuring the security and safety of GS premises, property and, most importantly, personnel. Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Ensuring 24/7 shift coverage across 2 GS sites.
  3. Delivery of core function Office of Global Security (OGS) responsibilities at both sites, namely.
  4. Access Management: ensuring access management systems and processes are being adhered to.
  5. Alarm Management; managing the effective security response to all alarms impacting GS space.
  6. Incident Management; coordinating OGS SGP response to local issues and incidents impacting the security and safety environment.
  7. Life Safety; overseeing OGS's life safety response capabilities and responsibilities within GS space.
  8. Risk Management: ensuring patrol, system, equipment check protocols and reporting are adhered to ensure all OGS dependencies are in good working order and any defects, risks are identified and remediated in an appropriate and timely manner.
  9. Risk mitigation: supporting facility and hotel risk assessment processes to identify and mitigate facility risks.
  10. Implementing team training and drilling initiatives to drive and reinforce core competency capabilities.
  11. Working with OGS Management in identifying core function process, performance, and productivity gains.
  12. Monitoring and driving team performance to meet and exceed OGS / GS requirements.
  13. Identifying and escalating any breaches or areas of concern relating to OGS personnel, procedures, or systems.
  14. Leadership: providing, by way of example, guidance and direction to the team that best enables team members to achieve individual potential and realise best practice delivery to GS.
  15. Supporting (or leading in absence of SEA Security Manager) OGS incident response to security /safety issues impacting GS business in SEA geography.
  16. Overseeing Security Systems & Projects with effective delivery of day-to-day security provision to Clients Offices with supervisory over Security Systems & Projects Manager.
  17. In addition to Singapore/ SEA operational requirements, following developmental roles are also envisaged as forming part of the Singapore Security Manager function.
  18. Supporting regional innovation and performance improvement initiatives.
  19. Working with regional management to development an internal audit capability.
  20. Short term deploy ability to support regionwide resiliency and capacity building.
  21. Supporting quality control assurance for other OGS security functions within SEA (e.g. Jakarta.
  22. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Prefer at least Diploma, Must have experience of 5-10 years.

Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.
  • Regular computer usage.
  • Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
  • Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision.
  • Must be able to work any shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure the successful completion of work assignments.
  • Travel, as required.
