Responsibilities:
- Manage and establish priorities for design and maintenance of entire infrastructure inclusive of LANs, WANs, Internet, security and wireless implementation
- Day-to-day network support and new projects
- Respond to and resolve network-related incidents in a timely manner, minimizing impact on business operations
- Responsible for the commission, decommissioning and tech refresh of network devices
- Manage the smooth delivery of network operations in accordance with SLA
- Provide firmware updates for network devices
- Ensure network infrastructure complies with security policies
- Prepare and maintain assets to ensure availability
- Manage and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems
- Test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining network infrastructure
- Provide directions to the help desk team members to support daily operation
- Implement a central problem management route for information management users to handle queries and complaints
- Take measures of crisis management to control all effects that may arise from customer problems and complaints to avoid escalation
- Maintain process/procedural documents
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of related working experience in managing large enterprise IT Network infrastructure
- Possess in Cloud Technology / SD-WAN / WAN / VPN / Proxy skillset
- Experience in Network Access Control Solution / Skillset
- Proficiency in Firewalls, Wi-Fi, Network Switches, VPN Tunnelling, and VLANs
- CCNA Certification or Equivalent
- Good planning, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate strong technical foundation and willingness to learn new technology and approaches
- Able to co-ordinate and collaborate with cross-functional team members
