Key Responsibilities:
- Instrumentation Maintenance:Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all instrumentation equipment, including pressure, temperature, level, and flow measurement devices.
Troubleshoot and repair faulty instrumentation and control systems, ensuring minimal downtime and operational disruption.
Calibrate instruments and control systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with operational standards.
- Installation and Commissioning:Oversee the installation and commissioning of new instrumentation systems and equipment.
Ensure that all installations are performed according to technical specifications and safety standards.
Conduct system checks and performance tests to verify proper operation after installation.
- Technical Support:Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and other personnel regarding instrumentation and control systems.
Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and best practices.
Liaise with vendors and manufacturers to resolve complex technical issues.
- Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and calibrations.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation for equipment performance, maintenance activities, and system modifications.
Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Conduct safety audits and inspections of instrumentation systems to identify potential hazards or compliance issues.
Participate in safety drills and training sessions as required.
- Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
