A*STAR Infectious Diseases Labs (A*STAR.IDL) is seeking for a Research Contracts Manager to join us in our mission to be a leading centre of infectious diseases research. A*STAR ID Labs aims to develop a cohesive A*STAR response to drive and deliver translational infectious diseases research to better health and economic outcomes.
Job Description:
- To play a managerial role and support the institute in contract management, by reviewing and leading negotiations of legal documents (i.e. RCA, SA, NDA, MTA, TD etc) with collaborators in accordance with A*STAR guidelines.
- To support Principal Investigators in identifying project aims, deliverables, budgets and timelines for research collaboration and service projects.
- Provide administrative support and clear lines of communication and engagement with multiple stakeholders. This can include but not limited to:
- a) Managing document archival and managing risk will be an essential part of the role.
- b) Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders, including industry partners, academic and clinical collaborators.
Job Requirements:
- Preferably BSc (Hons) or above in Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Infectious Diseases, Immunology or related field as above
- At least 5 years of industry or research experience preferably in the medtech, healthcare, or biomedical industry
- Demonstrable experience of contract management to a high standard
- Good understanding of administrative processes and applications
- Highly motivated and able to work independently
- Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Good spoken and written communication skills
- Organised, meticulous and detail-oriented
- Ability to identify and contextualise stakeholder issues and manage them in an appropriate manner
