The School of School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is looking for a Research Fellow.
The Research Fellow will work on a project to model the heterogeneous nanostructures and perform the nanofabrication and the measurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the eigenmode analysis and bandstructure analysis of heterogeneous nanostructures;
- Collaboration with the global teams for the sample design and nanofabrications
- Contribution to the progress report and promotion of the results (such as high-impact publications in the leading scientific journals)
Job Requirements:
- A PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering or closely related disciplines
- 4 or more years of relevant research experience in the areas of nanophotonic design
- A solid knowledge of optical design, experiments, and photonic mode analysis
- Experience and excellent understanding with heterogeneous nanostructures
- An excellent track record of scientific publications in international peer reviewed journals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong self-motivation and track record
