Network Security Engineer

Desired Competencies

Must-Have:

• Palo Alto Firewall
• Checkpoint Firewall
• Device Installation & Upgrade

Good-to-Have:

• Firewall Policy Management and Troubleshooting
• VPN Troubleshooting
• Network & Incident Management

Responsibilities & Expectations:

1. Monitoring & Management: Oversee and manage network security solutions during weekdays (8 AM - 5 PM).
2. Hardware Implementation: Install hardware, apply patches, and perform regular upgrades.
3. VPN Configuration: Configure, maintain, and manage IPSec and SSL Virtual Private Network environments.
4. Incident Management: Support Tufin tool for incident management and reporting.
5. Policy Implementation: Implement approved policy changes.
6. Certificate Management: Create certificates, check partitions, and issue new certificates as needed.
7. NAC Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot Network Access Control (NAC) related issues and provide operational support.
8. Device Management: Add, modify, or delete switches, routers, and wireless devices in the respective plugins.
9. Incident Coordination: Manage continuity and coordinate incident management.
10. Plugin Implementation: Implement approved plugins and perform necessary upgrades.
