Task & Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they approach the checkout area, providing a warm and friendly welcome.
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately, ensuring all payments are handled correctly.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers as needed.
- Assist Store Manager with weekly inventory tasks, including counting and restocking items.
- Work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Assist in other areas of the store, including stocking shelves, managing inventory, and maintaining store cleanliness.
- Stay informed about current sales, promotions and store policies to assist customers effectively.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Ensure the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies to the Store Manager.
- Work closely with other store staff to ensure smooth and efficient store operations
