Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 7am - 4:30pm
- Alternate Saturday: 7am - 1pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager cum Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will report to the General Manager/Production Manager and be responsible for improving productivity, cost savings, and ensuring machines are in good running order.
Responsibilities:
- Optimize current or new procedures to improve productivity
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures through productivity gains and waste reduction
- Collaborate with Maintenance team to ensure machine efficiency
- Produce reports to document current processes and provide operating instructions
- Investigate root causes of non-conformance and recommend corrective actions with Production Supervisor
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
- Excellent analytical and math skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Cables Industry preferred)
- Ability to perform shifts and work additional hours when necessary
