Our client is a venture capital fund that invests in clean and renewable energy sector, they value environment sustainability and brings positive impact to economies. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an Accountant and the role is based in Singapore.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with external service providers to prepare and review balance sheet reports, monthly profit and loss reports
- Work with senior team members to manage budgeting, cash flow etc
- Manage audit and statutory reports
- Maintain banking relationships and monitor bank balances and transactions
- Prepare and manage corporate tax, GST etc
- Collect and analysis data from investee companies and update into management information system
- Assist in FATCA/ CRS reporting, investor reporting
- Assist in board meetings
- Assist in other Finance and Ops duties when necessary
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other accounting qualification
- At least 3 to 6 years of Audit / Fund Administration / Buyside experience with exposure to Venture Capital or Private Equity Funds
- Detailed-oriented, motivated, good analytical skills
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Those with interests in renewable energy industry or environment sustainability is an advantage
