Job Description
- Manage financial reporting activities in accordance with the organisation's accounting policy and procedures and International Financial Reporting standards
- Provide technical expertise and advice on complex accounting issues
- Manage and upkeep good internal controls relating to the integrity of data for financial reporting
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including schedules reconciliation, variance analysis and cashflow forecasts.
- Ensure timely and accurate month end closing process, including Group submission
- Liaise with various stakeholders on necessary operational matters e.g. tax/treasury/operations
- Preparation of documentations for treasury related transactions e.g. loans drawdown, covenants monitoring and reporting
- Liaise and support audit requirements (internal/external audits/PCAOB etc)
- Support annual budget & forecast processes
- Drive process improvement initiatives such as continual effort in automation and process improvements in areas of accounting and reporting.
- Any other tasks as assigned.
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified with an Accounting degree with CA/CPA
- You have at least 5 years of relevant in well established multinationals including 1-3 years from big fours
- Individuals who have experience in Shared Service set up, have worked in fast-paced and team-based environment are beneficial
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Meticulous and organized.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4 Hana will be a valuable asset.
