About the role
McConnell Dowell is seeking an experienced Planner for Precontracts and Project Delivery opportunities in Singapore
Key responsibilities of the role include;
- Responsible for the planning and scheduling functions for the tender or Project.
- In consultation with relevant project personnel, establish and maintain accurate construction, procurement and deliverables schedules based on the Work Breakdown Structure and contract requirements.
- Update schedules on a regular basis to accurately reflect the current status of progress.
- Amend schedules to reflect changes to the project scope.
- Responsible for the efficient and effective project implementation of Sure Track/Primavera software for the project to provide accurate forecasting and progress reporting.
- Develop and maintain s-curve reports and provide overall progress reports and other matters related to schedule as required by the Project Manager.
- Provide assistance to Engineers on scheduling requirements.
- Oversee the preparation and monitoring of construction schedules, methods, manning charts and equipment requirements.
- Advise on actions to be taken to prevent or improve undesirable trends in progress.
- Identify possible time impact issues i.e. set up and manage Variation Order Detection System.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have;
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- 6-10 years of planning/scheduling experience in a similar large civil infrastructure project.
- Competent in planning and organizing work schedules.
- Knowledge of Primavera Software P6.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Able to work alternate 6 days work week.
