The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of 19 retail stores, leading Retail Managers and Operations Support teams to ensure operational excellence and seamless customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Retail Operations Management: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of retail stores, including inventory management, store layouts, visual merchandising, and customer service excellence.
- Operational Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent, efficient, and high-quality operations across all stores.
- Performance Monitoring & Improvement: Monitor and analyze store performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement, and implement effective action plans.
- Process Compliance & Review: Develop, review, and refine operations-related processes to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Vendor & Budget Management: Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers, participate in the development of annual budgets, and monitor expenditures to maintain cost efficiency. Conduct regular store visits to assess operations and stay updated on industry trends.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of Operations Management experience within the Retail / Travel Retail / FMCG industry specifically being familiarized with the Liquor & Tobacco product category
- Proven track record of managing retail operations and managing a large team
- Proficient in Ms Office Suite
- Proficiency in spoken / written Mandarin to liaise with clients from China
- Comfortable to work on weekends/PH when required
