Purpose of Job:
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the individual will be responsible for the general accounting functions of the finance department, which include calculations of partners’ rebates and commissions, AP/AR and reconciliations.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Check & calculate monthly rebates and commissions for partners
- Handle Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable transactions
- Check employees’ expense claims and enter into accounting system
- Reconcile bank and alternative payment methods’ transactions
- Liaise with local/overseas subsidiaries on full set of accounts
- Data entry of transactions into accounting system
- Other adhoc duties as and when assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy/Business or its equivalent
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in accounting and analysis
- Previous experience in audit/accounting firm will provide a better edge
