Responsibilities:
- Provide daily operational and technical assistance and performing vessel condition checks
- Keep track and follow up on the vessels technical performance and determine KPIs
- Provide prompt action to modification and enhancement of performance
- Ensuring to provide weekly update with regards status of vessel operational and technical to the Fleet and Marine Manager
- Oversee crew-related matters, risk assessments and PTW system
- Managing ships within vessel budgets and taking part in staff selection and reviews
- Participate in the third-party inspections and support HSSEQ with incident and accident investigations
Requirements:
- Diploma in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering or its equivalent
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in sailing/maritime industry
- Experienced in chemical tank, cargo changes and tank cleaning
- Familiar with international and local maritime regulations and requirements
- Certified in Chief Officer’s certification or Master’s license will be an advantages
