Anchored on a Triple and Technology Platform, KosmodeHealth overcomes issues of high cost of quality plant extracts for functional food development with proprietary Plant Extraction Know-How in the AgriFood Industry; and the issues of high cost and risk of animal protein biomaterial in the 3D Cell Culture sector with Plant Protein Composite (PPC™) Bio ink formulation technology and proprietary precision-controlled 3D Scaffold printing methodology.
Kosmode Health has two business verticals:
Agrifood Vertical: Anchored on our core plant extraction expertise, KosmodeHealth extracts proteins and fiber from Food Processing Wastes or Spent Grains, for formulation into functional food to meet nutritional needs of the Asian population. Our innovation in sustaining health of people without compromising health of the earth is evident in the creation of W0W® Noodles - the world’s only functional food clinically validated to have ‘0’ Glycemic Response, from Barley Protein Fibre extracted from Spent Barley Grains, a by-product of beer and malt production.
Biomedical, 3D Cell Culture segment: Protein isolates, repurposed from food processing wastes, are formulated into Plant Protein Composite (PPC®) bio-ink, the primary component for printing of 3D plant protein scaffolds (e.g. PPC® scaffold) that can be customised to meet growth requirement of diverse range of cells and tissues.
Role Overview
The production/operations coordinator reports to the Factory Manager and is responsible for overall factory management and efficiency of manufacturing processes. This role involves overseeing daily manufacturing activities in the Pilot Plant Factory, sales & logistics operations to ensure production efficiency and timely order fulfilment.
Specific tasks include:
Factory Production
· Manufacturing of functional ingredients, premixes and functional food.
· Factory equipment process optimization, procuring new equipment
· Facility management including all needed certification and licences
· Planning of production schedule through coordinating equipment, labour, and material availability.
· Support development of streamlined supply, manufacturing, ordering & delivering process to achieve maximum efficiency when fulfilling customers' orders.
· Troubleshooting of production issues to minimize delays in production.
· Upkeeping of production records for traceability
· Implement strict sanitization and cleaning procedures after each production while monitoring the production area hygiene and cleanliness
· Setting up cleaning and the maintenance schedule to ensure machinery/equipment are in working condition.
· Adhering to safety measures while operating machineries and equipment
· Establish of any new processing Standard Operating Procedure
· Provide support and coordinate logistic activities of product goods
· Co-ordinate activities and stakeholders to ensure satisfactory delivery of contract services and in-house development projects.
Operations
· Packing of products, arrangement of logistic for orders fulfilment.
· Support sales operation, logistic.
· Participate in business development, marketing and customers’ acquisition activities.
· Operate business processes and systems (eg. HR, finance, admin) to ensure operational efficiency.
1. DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
Academic Qualifications and Availability
· Polytechnic Diploma in Food Science & Technology/Chemical Engineering/Bioengineering/Chemistry/BioChemistry/or any other engineering discipline.
· Relevant NiTEC training with relevant internship/working experience can be considered.
Skills and Experience
· Good commandment of English.

· Good personality with can do attitude.
· Possess experience in machinery maintenance and ability to trouble electrical issues
