As a UX/UI Designer, you will collaborate with a team of technologists at GovTech, focusing on designing and developing software applications that enhance the ability of government agencies to meet the needs of Singaporeans. The team embraces an Agile development approach, consistently adopting best practices and leveraging cutting-edge tools to drive positive change through technology and improve user experiences.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with technologists to design and develop user-centric government software applications.
· Lead the full design process from research to high-fidelity mockups.
· Ensure seamless integration of design with product development.
· Participate in Agile practices and contribute to iterative design and development.
· Present and justify design decisions to team members and stakeholders.
· Rapidly design, test, and iterate on prototypes.
· Apply user research insights to inform design decisions.
· Contribute to and maintain the design system and UI standards.
· Develop task flows and user journeys that enhance the user experience.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams to solve design challenges.
· Clearly communicate design decisions and trade-offs.
· Meet milestones independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience in end-to-end delivery of digital products, including facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, usability testing, envisioning flows, and delivering hi-fidelity mockups.
· Strong understanding of user-centric design and Agile methodologies.
· Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
· Bonus: Knowledge of data analytics, frontend development, and illustration.
