As a UX Designer, you will collaborate the scrum team and various government agencies to shape product and design decisions, directly impacting the digital experience of the agency’s e-services. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, keen analytical abilities, and sound design judgment. You’ll work closely with designers, engineers, business analysts, and product managers to consistently deliver features that enhance citizen experience and boost agency efficiency. You will be working closely with the project scrum team, contributing as a key member of the UX team.
Responsibilities:
· Contribute to the overall product strategy by understanding and aligning with the project’s UX status and goals.
· Lead and participate in the inception phase, gathering requirements, co-creating with stakeholders, and contributing to active sprints.
· Drive research efforts to identify opportunities for product growth or enhancements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
· Design, prototype, and ship new features to the product backlog.
· Solve complex design problems to create seamless experiences for citizens across e-services and improve government operations.
· Ensure designs are data-driven, user-centric, and align with both user and stakeholder goals.
· Work closely with scrum teams, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to strategize product direction.
· Co-create solutions with the team, fostering a collaborative environment to develop the best product possible.
· Present and justify design decisions using user research and data analysis.
· Analyze user feedback and activity to iterate and enhance user experiences.
· Ensure designs are intuitive, accessible, and easy to use.
· Contribute to the UX and product team’s success by solving problems and improving design processes.
Requirements:
· 4-5 years of professional experience in product design, with a strong background in end-to-end delivery, including workshops, requirements gathering, usability testing, and creating high-fidelity mockups.
· Proficient in Agile and UX development environments.
· Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing requirements.
· Ability to quickly grasp use cases and develop task flows.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive product solutions that balance user and stakeholder needs.
· Experience in leading a UX design team is a plus and may qualify for a senior position.
· Knowledge of frontend development and data-driven design is advantageous.
