Incumbent plays a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely financial management reporting, budgeting and forecasting and/or overseeing and reviewing Financials for the Marketing entities in the Group.
Job Duties:
- Assist in preparing and analyzing budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans, including free cash flow analysis, and drafting briefing papers to meet Group requirements.
- Create accurate and timely management performance reports.
- Manage financial accounts and ensure compliance with management consolidation reporting requirements.
- Conduct financial checks and reviews on management accounting and reporting.
- Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and functions, including teams from the newly integrated operations, to ensure cohesive and accurate financial reporting.
- Support the implementation of commercial or finance initiatives and assist in reviewing, analyzing
- Engaging with internal stakeholders on projects and business initiatives.
- Proactively build and manage relationships with stakeholders across global functions and broader finance teams to drive alignment and integration with new business cases.
- Work with the Accounting Policy team to ensure transactions and projects are accounted for in accordance with accounting standards.
- Help maintain a robust control environment that complies with Our Requirements and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
- Identify and implement process improvements, including the simplification and standardization of accounting policy application.
- Serve as a backup for other members of the Finance Accounting and Reporting team as needed.
- Support the Finance Manager and Team Lead in management accounting and reporting tasks.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance related discipline
- At least 5 – 8 years of Global Finance experience, preferably from a AU MNC environment
- Experience with management accounting, financial performance reporting, and adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) / US GAAP requirements
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Solid understanding of accounting practices and IFRS
