Responsibilities:
- Analyse and monitor project execution according to the planning, identify risks and opportunities, report on progress and review, advise/make suggestions for optimisation, and modify existing reporting and/or planning tools and working methodologies if necessary, in line with contractual requirements, in order to optimise Project’s Master Schedule and contribute to an optimal realisation of project objectives.
- Analyse project’s schedules and planning, reporting and budget requirements covering all stages of the project and search for improvement opportunities.
- Monitor and administer the achieved progress and project status on a daily basis by comparing project execution with the Project’s Master Schedule, ensure follow-up and administration of the planning, including all interfaces and disciplines involved in the project, all in close cooperation and conjunction with the PMT.
- Anticipate on detrimental project related problems, identify and report any risk and imminent threats to the Project Director and Project Management Team and discuss proposals to mitigate and minimise risks and maximise opportunities.
- Review and propose updates to improvement of the Project Master Schedule and coordinate any changes with the involved parties as necessary in response to unforeseen events or unexpected developments.
- Inform all relevant stakeholders on the achieved progress in relation to the Master Planning and on the consequences of the current status using relevant dashboards and acquire necessary records for the elaboration of the reporting in compliance with the contractual requirements.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications/Bachelor/Diploma/Master or related Engineering discipline / Project Management (or equivalent knowledge and experience)
- With minimum 10 years experience in major repairs, conversions, and mobilization of dredging and offshore vessels
- In-depth technical and operational knowledge of specialized dredging and offshore vessels
- Possess high HSE DNA skills as to drive and lead HSE performance on site
- Have contractual management, risk management, stakeholder manager-knowledge and demonstrated experience
- Have high people skills as to lead a versatile, multinational team of staff and crew
- Be fully skilled in Microsoft office software
- Be fully proficient in English language (reading / writing / speaking)
