Purpose and Scope
- To ensure and maintain conformity to both internal and external requirements for both Energy & Utilities and Water operating Plants within Singapore market.
- To tighten internal controls and processes, overseeing the effectiveness of strategies / measures undertaken to manage potential non-conformity.
- Ensure traceability on key data / information by orderly managing the data repositories.
- Continually identify opportunities for system / digital improvements which helps increase work productivity and carry out processes more efficiently.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Support in audit exercises, ensuring observations are remediated with appropriate measures and completed timely
- Keep abreast to changes in Standards / Code of Practices / Singapore Legislations and update the compliance register accordingly
- Communicate to all relevant stakeholders on actions needed to be taken for conformity to internal / external requirements.
- Work closely with Market Risk team (Line 2) in managing risk controls
- Develop policies or procedures common to all Plants / Functions so that practice are standardized and in line with the Compliance Framework set forth by Market Risk
- Upkeep records and supporting documents within respective data repository systems
- Liaise with respective departments to identify possible solutions to existing work practices which can reduce / eliminate staff-dependency on non-value added tasks or potential errors
- Prepare routine reports / declarations to be submitted to Management / Authorities
Qualifications & Experience
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or above
- Min 2 years of relevant working experience
- Experience and knowledge in ISO Standards, audits and regulatory requirements for operating plants preferred
Preferred Skills & Characteristics
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Good team player and able to deliver results within tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Independent, self-driven and resourceful
- Knowledge in SharePoint, Power BI or Excel VBA is an added advantage
- ISO9001 / 14001 / 45001 internal auditor certifications preferred
