As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the day-to-day CDD onboarding process, including timely periodic, event-triggered, and ad hoc reviews
- Reviewing client documentation and ensuring completeness of KYC packages for submission to CARC
- Serving as the liaison officer between Front Office RMs/Wealth Advisors and other stakeholders (Compliance, Ops, HO CDD teams) on CDD matters
- Assisting the Head of Department in:
- Identifying and improving inefficient processes to increase efficiency
- Mentoring and guiding junior colleagues to perform their duties competently
- Implementing new processes or initiatives triggered by regulatory developments or changes in business models
- Acting as a business advisor on day-to-day CDD matters, providing guidance and advice on CDD requirements (internal policies and regulations) to the business
- Proactively working with Front Office to resolve CDD issues and escalating to the Head of CDD Business Advisory and Support and local stakeholders as required
- Conducting applicable CDD-related training for the front office
Requirements for Success:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the private banking industry, handling the lifecycle of KYC/CDD
- Checker experience will be an added advantage.
