Job Objective:
- Build strong relationships and manage existing customers, facilitate transactions, and work with internal stakeholders to cater to customers' needs
- Source for potential new customers through active research
Core Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Initiate contact through various means with potential customers in the countries assigned
- Follow up on new customer leads to establish customer needs and respond appropriately to start the customer relationship
Account Management
- Build relationships with existing clients by understanding their needs and assisting with their queries
- Facilitate client orders, payment and communicate requirements to internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Quality Assurance, Logistics)
- Prepare costing, quotations and administrative duties of the Business Development Department
- Analyse customer order history, behaviours, business needs and suggest more cost-effective solutions for the customer
- Analyse customer order history, monitor repeat orders, take actions to understand situation and provide suggestions to the Business Development Manager on follow-up actions
- Suggest alternative products (e.g. more cost competitive, better performance) to existing customers
- Address and resolve customer complaints/feedback by providing appropriate short-term solutions (e.g. remedies for damages), analyse root cause(s) and recommend preventive actions by working with internal stakeholders
- Tabulate and analyse sales data, and prepare quarterly/half yearly sales report and sales presentations to customers
- Coach and guide new customers in their business setup and enhance product offerings
Job Specifications:
Minimum education qualifications:
- Diploma in any discipline
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline an advantage
Minimum years of experience:
- 3 years of relevant experience in Business Development in a related industry, for diploma holders
- 2 years of relevant experience in Business Development in a related industry, for degree holders

- Highly meticulous and able to meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in verbal and written English and/or Mandarin to be able to interact with customers effectively
- Resourceful in identifying avenues and alternatives to identify potential new customers

- Good understanding of lubricant products
- Good interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- Proficient in MS Office Word and Excel
- Knowledge of SAP B1 an advantage
