JOB PURPOSE:
The Security Supervisor is responsible for the daily security operation of the DC.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensuring that all officers comply with the Security protocol at all times.
- Arrange Officers to support Operations requirements when needed.
- Scheduling Officers' leave and off days to ensure the team has the manpower to operate daily.
- Prepares reports of incidents.
- Monitor the Honeywell Security System and escalate to the Warehouse Executive of system abnormality.
JOB CONTENT:
- Write and submit security reports to the Warehouse Executive in a timely manner for any abnormal occurrence
- Provide security training to subordinates and new hire
- Maintain law and order in the area of jurisdiction
- Develop and implement preventative measures against accidents, thefts and other risks
- In case of any security threat, he/she must be ready to direct staff members to take appropriate measures to neutralize such threat.
- Security supervisors are responsible for hiring, managing, disciplining, training, and counselling other staff members working under them as the case may be.
- Constantly review the in-house SOP and update the SOP.
- Monitor staff by patrolling at their assigned workstation to ensure the security protocols are being enforced at all times
- Assign work areas for officers to patrol the DC randomly
- Assist the Warehouse Executive in conducting the investigation
- Protect the people and property
- Conduct routine patrols with the team
- Look out for suspicious persons, vandalism or hazards
- Respond to alarms and distress calls
- Ensure all security systems, like the burglar alarms and CCTV are working properly
RECOMMENDED CREDENTIALS:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid SLRD certification is a must and complies with the latest requirements.

- Must be able to observe situations and make appropriate responses
- Must be able to work with speed
- Must have previous experience as a police officer, military police officer or security supervisor
- Must have no criminal record.
