Job Description:
• Preparation, development and service of coffee and other specialty drinks
• Stock and serve gelato, pastries and breads
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar and equipment.
• Provide high quality Customer Service, and resolve customer complaints
• Train and mentor junior baristas on coffee preparation techniques, customer service skills
• Work closely with owner/manager to develop seasonal items, promotions and menu improvements
• Inventory and Stock Management, including assisting with ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of products to maintain freshness.
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot and report any equipment issues to the manager or owner for timely resolution.
• Participation in team meetings, brainstorming sessions to ensure cohesive team dynamics and to improve products and services.
