Role Overview: Regional Professional Services Leader - Asia
Are you a transformational leader ready to craft the future? As the Professional Services Leader
for Asia, you will orchestrate your Go-to-Market strategy to expand and excel in our Services
business. Your focus will be on driving Professional Services Bookings and Revenues ,
encouraging customer adoption, and delivering innovative solutions. Partnering closely with our
regional sales teams, you’ll cultivate strategic relationships and lead a dynamic team to ensure
positive customer outcomes and business growth.
Key Responsibilities: Innovator, Strategist, Leader
- Drive Success: Meet and exceed professional services quotas, including bookings, revenue, and utilization.
- Strategic Forecasting: Provide regular mentorship on PS bookings/revenue, identifying challenges and crafting contingency plans.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop an impactful regional PS team, including Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Architects, and Consultants.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Cultivate effective interactions at multiple levels across corporate and field functions.
- Global Practices Adaptation: Align and implement global practices while respecting local business cultures across regions.
- Growth Development: Coordinate with country managers and consulting management to expand customer solutions.
- Partner Relationships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with channel partners to support product sales quotas.
- Operational Excellence: Encourage the detailing of methodologies and best practices for deploying Splunk, improving the value of our solutions for customers and partners.
Requirements: Shown Expertise and Passion
- Experience: 12+ years in the IT industry, with a background in customer-facing professional services roles.
- Leadership: 8+ years leading and inspiring impactful teams.
- Organizational Skills: Strong financial, organizational, and leadership abilities to lead competing demands.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in systems integration consulting or serviceswith software/hardware vendors, preferably with a consulting organization or “Big 5” firm.
- Customer Focus: Proven track record to grow and lead technical personnel and processes linked to enterprise software sales.
- Team Player: Ability to excel in a collaborative team environment.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills and clear, effective communication with partners and team members.
- Urgency and Initiative: Highly organized with a healthy sense of urgency, capable of meeting SLAs and ambitious deadlines.
- Self-Motivation: Independent, self-educating, and able to work collaboratively with partners and fellow Splunkers.
- Process Development: Experienced in analyzing, developing, and deploying internal processes for continuous improvement.
- Adaptability: Strong growth mindset and change agility to thrive in a dynamic environment.
