(A) Job Summary:
The C&S Coordinator assists the Design Manager in specific areas pertaining to quality standards applicable at construction site.
(B) Essential Job Functions:
The C&S Coordinator is responsible, but not limited to, the following:
- Design, coordinate, plan and manage the civil and structural projects assigned.
- Liaise with architects, clients, consultants and other parties involved for the design of Structural and civil engineering works.
- Conduct structure analysis.
- Review completed structural drawings, designs and specifications.
- Ensure the drawings comply with the specifications/requirements of the authorities.
- Check and highlight all the discrepancies between Architectural, Structural and M&E drawings.
- Prepare technical submissions for approval.
- Coordinating with all trade team for Structural Work in both design and construction stage.
- To ensure proper handover of project to client.
(C) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:
- Minimum Diploma holder. Degree / Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering or its equivalent.
- At least 8 years of engineering experience in the Construction industry.
- Experience in bored tunnelling and deep excavation projects of similar scale, nature and complexity.
- Experience in MRT/LTA projects is a definite advantage.
- Prior experience in working in construction site preferred, especially in Civil Projects.
(D) Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:
- Working knowledge of general construction knowledge, especially in Civil Projects.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time.
- Ability to analyse and synthesize complex issues quickly.
- Able to work overtime and be on standby when required.
- Project site based position.
