Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Events Executive is responsible for managing all aspects of our events such as banquets and weddings. The incumbent will work closely with clients in planning the event and being responsible for the eventual execution whilst ensuring an exceptional guest experience throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for planning and executing our events, including but not limited to weddings, conferences, meetings, and social gatherings. In performing this role, you will need to ensure we provide exceptional guest experience in the execution of these events by adhering to our prescribed brand standards and guidelines.
- Liaise with clients for all matters relating to the event. You would need to engage them to understand their requirements and preferences, and thereafter provide recommendations to satisfy such requirements.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging furniture, audiovisual equipment, and décor. Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all logistical requirements are met.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a property of similar standing. Good track record in event coordination, banquet management, or a related field, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills and organization skills, coupled with a well ingrained sales & service mindset.
