ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Remove and install engine components onto the engine/ module off-wing or on-wing
• Perform troubleshooting, modification, repair and other associated maintenance work off-wing or on-wing
• Perform/assist in borescope inspection
• Work performed using prescribed tools and equipment i.a.w approved technical data and relevant documents
• Compliance of work to all relevant statutory, company regulations and standards operating procedures in ESD
and SIAEC
• Any other tasks as assigned by superiors

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Good understanding of airworthiness regulations and requirements e.g. FAA, EASA, CAAS and other NAAs
- Experience and Good understanding of QMS, SMS and AS9100, OHS45001
- Experience in source demonstration repairs (e.g. fanblade reprofiling, boroblending) would be an added advantage
- Experience with previous on-wing work (e.g. borescope inspection, engine external gear box replacement, fan track liner repairs etc.) would be preferred
- Familiarity of inspection methods, techniques and equipment would be an added advantage
- Detail oriented and able to react to “out-of-norm” situations
- Diploma or degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation industry with at least 2 years of experience in an engine shop environment
- Knowledge of problem resolution tools and LEAN.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Software: Microsoft Office Suite to include PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
