What will you do?
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining key milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Monitor and report on project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure data centre designs meet client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the integration of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and software systems, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
- Coordinate with system integrators to ensure all components are installed, configured, and tested according to design specifications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present project status reports, risk assessments, and budget updates to stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and reported accurately.
- Allocate resources effectively, managing the work of cross-functional teams and external contractors.
- Ensure all project activities are conducted within budget and on schedule.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations and best practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify the quality of work and adherence to design specifications.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- A Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in data centre design and systems integration.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale data centre projects from inception to completion. -
- Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling, network architecture, and security systems.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work at client site (Jurong) and commit to fixed term contract
